The Denver Nuggets will hold their media day ahead of the 2023-24 NBA season in less than a week. Media day is a fantastic occasion. It feels like the first day of school, with players taking new photographs and meeting with the press.
The Nuggets’ jerseys will be a little different this year when they pose for team photos. According to DNVR’s Harrison Wind, the emblem of Western Union, the money-transfer company that has been the team’s sponsor since the NBA began allowing jersey sponsors ahead of the 2017-18 season, would no longer be on Denver’s uniforms.
“A source told DNVR that Western Union is no longer the Nuggets’ jersey patch sponsor,” Wind tweeted. “The company’s logo has been on the Nuggets’ jersey since the 2017-18 season when the NBA first approved the sale of jersey patches.”
Who will be the new jersey sponsor for the Denver Nuggets?
There is currently no genuine information about this. But why not make a wild guess?
Several notable firms have ties to Denver, including Ball Aerospace, which sponsors the Nuggets’ home arena, Dish Network, Crocs, and Coors Brewing Company.
Ball would make a lot of sense because they’re already working with the team to some extent. Why not receive a little more publicity if you’re them?
Dish Network would be a more surprising candidate. With streaming taking over how most people watch TV, it’s difficult to assume they have a lot of money to throw around.
Crocs would be a good choice, right? Who wouldn’t want some limited-edition Nuggets Crocs?
Coors is the one who would be the least surprised. They already sponsor Coors Field, which is home to the Colorado Rockies, the city’s baseball franchise.
