DJ Khaled spends money on a resort only to ride a motorcycle in the water

In DJ Khaled’s world, no amount of excess is ever too much. The music producer recently spent the day soaking up the Miami sun in a five-bedroom, $34.5 million mansion on manmade Hibiscus Island.

The 11,000-square-foot ONE Sotheby’s megamansion includes a home theater with comfortable couches and lounge chairs, a shimmering infinity pool with views of the ocean and the city beyond, a wooden dock large enough for a yacht (or a fleet of Jet Skis), and an outdoor lounge area with roomy couches and lovely views of Miami Beach.

The home’s indoor-outdoor environment is highlighted by an elevated outdoor kitchen with a built-in BBQ and bar set among the palm trees on the property. The interior is also remarkable, with a second kitchen that is more centrally located and a modern color palette of cold grey and vivid orange. The huge living area, which has a complete wall of glass sliders opening to the backyard patio and pool, is dominated by a magnificent glass coffee table.

There is a sitting space, reclining seats, and an en suite bathroom in the master bedroom. A floor-to-ceiling glass slider opens to a private balcony in each bedroom. An upside-down floating staircase connects the floors, and a yellow banana sofa adds a splash of color to the otherwise monochrome space. A playroom designed specifically for DJ Khaled’s loving two-year-old son, Asahd, is one of the house’s most outstanding features.
