DeAndre Jordan trolls young Suns fan by signing his head

DeAndre Jordan, as talented as he is as a basketball player, is also renowned as a practical joker. On Tuesday, at the Denver Nuggets’ first preseason game against the Phoenix Suns, the former NBA All-Star had an amusing interaction with a young basketball fan.

A child sitting courtside wearing a Kevin Durant jersey approached Jordan and wanted him to sign his basketball. The 6-foot-11 center gladly agreed and went over and beyond by signing the child’s head.

In 15 NBA seasons, Jordan made the All-NBA First Team in 2016 and was a two-time rebounding leader in 2014 and 2015. He is in his second season with the Denver Nuggets, where he won a championship last season.

Jordan appeared in 39 games for the 2022-23 season, largely as a backup center to Nikola Jokic. In 15 minutes of playing time per game, he averaged 5.1 points and 5.2 rebounds.

The Nuggets’ preseason game against the Suns is the first of five. They will play the Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Clippers twice before opening the season against the Los Angeles Lakers on October 25.
