Kevin Durant explains reason he ruled out vs Nuggets game

Kevin Durant has been ruled out of the Denver Nuggets’ game against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday.

The Phoenix Suns will host the Denver Nuggets in their second preseason game on Tuesday evening in Arizona.

They will be missing their three greatest players for the game, as Bradley Beal, Kevin Durant, and Devin Booker have all been ruled out.

The Suns played their first preseason game against the Detroit Pistons on Sunday in Michigan.

Grayson Allen led the Suns with 18 points as they won the game 130-126 (in overtime).

Durant is in his first full season with the Suns after a season in which he averaged 29.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.4 blocks per game while shooting 56.0% from the field and 40.4% from three-point range in 47 games.

Furthermore, Beal was acquired during the summer, thus this will be his first season with the Suns.

In 50 games last season, the former Florida standout averaged 23.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game while shooting 50.6% from the field and 36.5% from three-point range.

The Suns are coming off a season in which they finished fourth in the Western Conference.

They defeated the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the NBA playoffs before losing in the second round (in six games) to the Denver Nuggets.
