Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, said, “I know what happened, but I won’t say anything,” in response to a question regarding the event. Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, declined to comment on the altercation, saying, “I haven’t seen it.”
The Football Association (FA) decided not to discipline either Arsenal or Manchester City, even though the dispute was very strong.
Because of this choice, the event was limited to the heat of the moment and neither team suffered any additional repercussions.
