Scott McTominay and Diogo Dalot goals on Saturday night helped Erik ten Hag’s squad overcome Sheffield United in a hard-fought match. All three of those things were critical.

After McTominay was sent off for a handball in the box, Oli McBurnie scored from the penalty spot to square the score for the Blades.

Nevertheless, United put up a strong fight and won their second straight Premier League game with a fantastic goal from 25 yards out.

The Reds would hold on to their slim lead and make the home fans at Bramall Lane very angry.

One fan even voiced his opinion when Alejandro Garnacho got a free kick in the 93rd minute, late in the game.

In the video below, you can see the Sheffield United fan walking to the sidelines and making a series of hand signals to Garnacho.

Rasmus Hojlund, the captain, Bruno Fernandes, and the Argentine winger can all be seen attempting to persuade the supporter to leave.

The individual in issue, though, decides to imitate Garnacho’s “diving technique,” which he employed up until security discovered him.

Erik ten Hag showed how happy he was about the win after the game was over. “Every game is tough in the Premier League,” he stated.

“Players always have to get back to their normal routines after international breaks, when they play different styles and methods with their countries.

“You could tell in the first half that it wasn’t our best game; it wasn’t fluid at all.” We scored, but we need to be more calm and mature if we want to stay in the game after giving up the goal so fast.

“At half time I said find a way to win and I think we were much better in the second half.”

Ten Hag also talked about Sir Bobby Charlton, a star at Manchester United who died on Saturday morning at the age of 86.

“What he achieved in football was immense,” he said. “Plus who he is outside of football.” A big man died in football.

“We had to treat him with respect, and I think we did that today.” We wanted to remember him and have a party.
