Following his reunion with a former teammate, David de Gea has been urged to return by Manchester United supporters.

Alongside the snap, De Gea wrote: “Together again.”

Supporters were quick to call for his return, with one commenting: “Get back to the team. We have many challenges ahead.”

A third fan also wrote: “Bring him back.”

De Gea has so far been unable to find a new club since his United exit and has reportedly even considered retirement at just 32-years-old.

During 12 years at Old Trafford, he made 545 appearances and won eight major trophies, including a league title and the Europa League.
