He’s made over $230 million in the NBA in his 11 years of play. Giannis Antetokounmpo is becoming more and more interested in style. Outside of honing his skills as one of the league’s finest players, Giannis Antetokounmpo enjoys other hobbies. He still finds himself becoming more and more interested in fashion. The NBA and fashion have a long history together. Gamers are often turning up to matches dressed in their finest—and occasionally most outrageous—clothing. Antetkounmpo has noticed an improvement in style since moving here from Greece. He revealed his developing interest in fashion last year in an interview with GQ. He claimed that since he was so thrilled to be in the NBA, he wasn’t concerned about it early in his career. Ever since, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, his brother and fellow Bucks player, has served as an inspiration to the two-time MVP.“We have to start with my brother (and Bucks teammate) Thanassis,” Antetokounmpo said. “He’s deep into fashion. He can wear anything and make it look good. I try to follow in his footsteps so I don’t look like a bum out there.”
As seen in his Instagram post with A’Ja Wilson, Antetokounmpo is capable of rolling out some luxury outfits. Nevertheless, he has a simple approach to fashion and mainly focuses on just being in the moment.
“I feel like I want to wear this hoodie, this T-shirt, this short or whatever it might be, and, sometimes, it turns out well. Sometimes it turns out where people are like, ‘What are those!?’ but I just live in the moment.”
Giannis Antetokounmp’s outfits will surely get a lot of attention this year, as all eyes will be on the Bucks following their addition of Damian Lillard
