Carlo Ancelotti, manager of Real Madrid, has assured Jude Bellingham that he is “OK” after being substituted in the 89th minute of their 2-1 Champions League triumph over Braga on Tuesday night.
Madrid now leads Group C with nine points after Bellingham scored their second goal.
Their next LaLiga match is a Clasico versus Barcelona on Saturday.
“He’s OK. Because the pitch was a little soft, his adductors are a little charged.
“But nothing noteworthy. He’ll be OK. He’s OK. He, like everyone else, is fatigued. But that’s natural,” Ancelotti explained when asked why Bellingham was substituted.
Bellingham has scored eight goals in nine matches for Real Madrid since joining from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
