Liverpool consider UCL superstar as ‘top replacement’ for Mohamed Salah

Liverpool apparently sees Jamal Musiala as a suitable replacement to Mohamed Salah, despite the fact that the Bayern Munich star is unwilling to leave Germany.

According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, the 20-year-old prospect is viewed as a ‘top successor’ for the Reds’ star winger, Salah, who is due to leave Liverpool next year.

Musiala, who scored for Bayern last night in their 3-1 UEFA Champions League victory against Galatasaray, is having a fantastic season with the Bundesliga giants under Thomas Tuchel.

With discussions of a new contract, Liverpool are unlikely to sign Musiala, even if they win a large payoff from the prospective sale of Salah in 2024.

Indeed, the dynamic midfielder would be a fantastic addition to Liverpool, but all indications point to Musiala staying at Bayern for some years before moving to the Premier League.

Liverpool may have to wait for Musiala

Musiala is unwilling to leave Bayern for a return to England, despite the fact that the kid is playing a major role for the German team in what is turning out to be an exciting year.

And there is every likelihood that Liverpool will now have to wait for the 20-year-old sensation, who is likely to want to stay at Bayern for a long time.

Given Musiala’s age, this revelation is unlikely to be a deal killer, and Liverpool may be willing to wait for the attacking midfielder when he is ready to leave Bayern.
