Drake’s complimentary private plane was modified to be worth $185M

Drake can pretty much afford whatever he wants with a net worth of $250 million.

Even with that much money, the Canadian rapper occasionally receives freebies.

Consider his private jet, which he repurposed and is now estimated to be worth $185 million.

The plane in question is a 767, which is outrageously enormous for a privately owned plane, but as they say, to each their own.

The 767 is a former freighter, so you can get a feel of magnitude.

The 767-200, with a 206 ton cargo capacity and a 20,000 gallon fuel tank, functioned as a freight plane for 23 years.

Cargojet, a Canadian transport carrier, donated the plane in 2019.

It’s unclear when Drake and the freight carrier began their relationship.

However, a Cargojet spokeswoman acknowledged that the airline had a long history with the 36-year-old.

Cargojet has reportedly transported supplies and equipment for his trips in the past.

Why would Cargojet provide someone like Drake such a huge airframe?

If the answer wasn’t obvious, it’s publicity; Drake has over 143 million Instagram followers.

The rapper promised to snap images of his plane and share them on social media as part of the contract to hand up the beautifully remodeled Air Drake 767-200.

The plane was ancient, but Drake’s modifications were comprehensive and thorough.

It appears to be a brand new plane, but it is officially recycled, making it one of the most luxuriously recycled things ever purchased – hands down.

There are plush recliners, luxury baths, and a full kitchen inside the cabin.

From the exterior, the jet appears to be any other, but the clasped hands on the tailfin and the OVO Owl painted on the front door reveal who owns it.

It still bears the enormous Cargojet logo that has been plastered on the side for over two decades, but it has received a fresh coat of paint to brighten it up.
