The internet is buzzing over Beyonce and Jay-Z’s new $200 million California mansion.

Their new home is 40,000 square feet in size and is located in a prestigious real-estate neighborhood of Malibu, California.

They purchased the property from an art entrepreneur who reportedly spent 15 years designing it.

William Bell, an art collector, purchased the mansion in 2003 for $14.5 million and has subsequently added his own touches.

But, as is customary, the trolls have weighed in with their comments on the famous couple’s new digs.

According to the internet, all they can see from the photographs is a “warehouse.”

And someone has to call Jeff Bezos and compliment him on his aesthetics.

It appears to be a “Amazon warehouse.”

So, was the most expensive home ever purchased in California worth it?

It was previously listed for $295 million before the singer/songwriter and producer duo agreed to a lower price.

While we haven’t been given access to the unquestionably magnificent interiors, the aerial photos do look a touch Amazon-like.

The photos of the mansion were uploaded by an account called Beyonce Press on X.

And its adherents were surely thinking.

“I imagine there’s a huge apocalypse-ready bunker underneath lol,” one comment said.

“Thought it’s a warehouse (holding back tears emoji),” said a second.

Another joked they wanted Architectural Digest to give the “real architectural tea”.

Other comparisons included Minecraft buildings, a Walmart, airports and a YMCA.

“This is a prime example of ‘just because you can, it doesn’t mean you should’,” a third summed up the display of wealth.
