The Nike (NYSE:NKE -2.04%) KD 16 “Aunt Pearl” is almost here, as the Swoosh has now released a breakdown of the sneaker. The pair’s release date has been pushed back to October 27 for a $170 USD release via Nike SNKRS and certain Nike Basketball shops.

Following an early look at an unknown pink colorway of the KD 16, a breakdown of the official Nike KD 16 “Aunt Pearl” has surfaced via retailer photos. The KD 16 “Aunt Pearl” joins the KD 3 in sporting the homage colorway this year, combining a delicate pink with a vivid variation of the shade. The left shoe’s tongue features a rose, while the sockliner features a tribute to his late Aunt Pearl and former basketball coach Kay Yow. This colorway is expected to be released on October 14 via and select retailers for $170 USD. This album is a continuation of Durant’s custom of paying tribute to his late aunt, who died of breast cancer. According to the initial leaked photographs, the Swoosh designers used a soft pink tone throughout the tongues, mesh underlays, and textured midsole molds, with hot pink accents on the eyelets, heel icons, and mid-foot molds. To add contrast, the tiny rear Swooshes are designed in pure white.
