With 14,222 career points going into the game, Thompson has surpassed Glenn Robinson (14,234) and Tom Van Arsdale (14,232) for 175th place all-time.
Alonzo Mourning will be the next player he passes (14,311).
Thompson had shot 45.6% from the field and 37.9% from three-point range in his first four games, averaging 16.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.1 blocks per game going into the game.
With four victories in their first five games of the season, the Warriors are off to a scorching start.
The most recent victory came on Wednesday at home against the Sacramento Kings, where Thompson hit the game-winning shot, 102-101.
Thompson has played his whole career for Golden State, having been selected with the eleventh overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft out of Washington State.

After playing the Thunder, the Warriors will play the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday, the Detroit Pistons on Monday, and the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday to wrap up their road trip.
