The Golden State Warriors will take on the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night in Ohio. 

Klay Thompson is listed as injured, so they might be missing one of their best players for the match.

Thompson is averaging 16.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game while shooting 42.9% from three-point range and 47.8% from the field in his five games played this season.    

The Warriors, who have won their last six games, are 5-1 going into this one. They most recently defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night, 141-139 (in Oklahoma). 

The Warriors are on a road trip and will play two more games against the Detroit Pistons (on Monday in Michigan) and Denver Nuggets (on Wednesday in Colorado). This is their second game of the trip.  

Having played for Golden State his entire career, Thompson recently finished a season in which he averaged 21.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game while shooting 41.2% from three-point range and 43.6% from the field in 69 games.

In the NBA playoffs, the Warriors—the sixth seed in the Western Conference—were defeated by the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round.  

The Cavaliers come into the game with a 2-4 record after playing six games; their most recent loss came against the Indiana Pacers, 121-116.  

They will play their next game in Oklahoma on Wednesday night against the Thunder, after the Warriors.
