UPDATE: Anthony Davis Leaves Los Angeles Lakers Fans Restless with New Injury

The Los Angeles Lakers’ injury list is long enough, now it also welcomes the team’s number 1 star, Anthony Davis.

Anthony Davis is having one of the best starts to the season for the Los Angeles Lakers as well as his more than 700-game NBA career.

Before the trip to Miami on November 7, the big man born in 1993 had an average of 26.3 points, 13.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists in more than 39 minutes of play per match. More specifically, Davis has up to 3.7 blocks/match, a block index superior to the previous career-high 2.9 BPG.

But every time AD flourishes, Los Angeles Lakers fans are concerned about injury-related issues. This scenario that no one wants happened in the match against the Miami Heat on the morning of November 7.

Anthony Davis is showing very high form with a comprehensive offensive and defensive style

After a collision with his opponent at the end of the second half, Anthony Davis showed pain in the hip area and could not move normally. He immediately went to the locker room with a team assistant to handle the matter.

Reputable journalist Shams Charania reported that Anthony Davis suffered minor injuries to the hip and groin area. Although Davis came off the field at the beginning of the third round, it seemed like the situation was not really good so the 30-year-old bigman was taken off to rest.

He ended the match early with only 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in 25 minutes on the court.

Anthony Davis was injured once again while he was flourishing

The image of Anthony Davis being injured has made Los Angeles Lakers fans extremely worried, especially when this big man is in very high form. But luck came to fans of the yellow and purple team when AD personally updated the situation with the press.

Davis is confident that he has no serious problems and will be back on the field soon. In addition, the Lakers player denied that playing so much was making him feel overloaded, claiming that this was just an unfortunate injury caused by a collision.

“Everything will be fine ,” Davis said. “I think I will be ready for the team’s next match. I believe so”.

Davis believes he won’t have any serious problems

Although Anthony Davis is confident, many fans are still worried about this striker’s physical condition, especially when the season has just begun.

The Los Angeles Lakers have no official information regarding Davis’ injury. Just know that the medical team performed rehabilitation therapy for this player immediately after the match at the hotel.

The two sides set a goal for Davis to recover overnight to be ready with the team to travel to Houston, preparing for the Rockets’ away trip.

Having only played 7 games, the Los Angeles Lakers already have a fairly long injury list. Three important pillars including Gabe Vincent, Rui Hachimura and Jarred Vanderbilt are all recovering from injuries with different problems.

The Lakers’ next appearance will be a trip to Houston on November 9, immediately followed by an away match against the Phoenix Suns at 10:00 on November 11.
