Warriors guard Klay Thompson doesn’t spend much time worrying about what he wears in the morning if his years of wearing jeans and T-shirts to Oracle Arena are any guide.

Klay Thompson is probably the last person that comes to mind when considering some of the NBA’s most fashionable players. The Warriors guard is usually seen sporting jeans and a simple t-shirt, with the occasional bomber jacket thrown in for good measure if he’s in the mood for something spicier. Since our clothing is ultimately just an expression of who we are, there is nothing wrong with having your sense of style. This is how Klay feels more at ease, and that’s something we should accept. That being said, the situation becomes even more hilarious when you learn that Thompson’s mother bought his outfits.

When asked about his sense of style in an interview with ESPN, Thompson disclosed that his mother continues to assist him with clothes, as does the wife of one of his teammates.

“My mom and [Andre Iguodala’s] wife go shopping together for us,” Thompson said. “They have good senses of style.” The guard added that he enjoys wearing high-end labels like Louis Vuitton and Saint Laurent.

Regarding Thompson’s method for selecting an outfit, he prefers to take a more practical approach.

“I either set it out the night before, or I decide quickly after my pregame nap,” he explained. 

The Golden State Warriors’ NBA Finals matchup with Thompson will take place the following week on May 30.
