The fiancée of Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid, Lauren Kyle, is giving a peek at some of her best summertime memories.
In addition to providing updates on the couple’s activities over the previous few months, Kyle shared several images on Instagram that showed off their wedding preparations.
During the NHL’s off-season, the couple—who got engaged in June—shared some adorable moments, such as visiting Muskoka.
The engaged couple can be seen kissing on a swing, McDavid kissing their dog Lenard on a boat, and Kyle flashing her gorgeous engagement ring in the pictures she posted.
The couple appears to hold a special place in their hearts for Muskoka, as evidenced by the numerous pictures Kyle has posted from this summer’s cottage country in Ontario.
Not only is it the site of McDavid’s proposal, but it also serves as the venue for the interior designer’s party invitation to her friends.
Kyle shared pictures from the lovely occasion, which included all of her closest friends, on September 2.
“The most remarkable evening! I asked my closest friends to be my bridesmaids on Tuesday, and I can’t wait to have them on my side,” she captioned the photo.
Kyle provided a closer look at every detail in a few different posts, including the food, stunning floral arrangements, and Dior gift bags for her bridal party.
McDavid and his future wife engaged in other activities during the summer. In July, they also traveled to British Columbia to attend the wedding of former Edmonton Oiler Tyson Barrie. The couple spent some time touring Tofino while visiting Vancouver Island after the wedding.
After that, the couple returned to Ontario, where McDavid played tennis and golf, among other sports, and they went to the Boots and Hearts Festival.
McDavid is currently getting ready for the October start of the 2023–2024 NHL season. He recently posted a few pictures from a training session to Instagram.
