Steph Curry lost it.
In a thrilling game that ended at the buzzer, the Denver Nuggets defeated the Golden State Warriors by a margin of three points. Despite how much fun the game was, Steph Curry didn’t like one specific part of it.
Curry made a layup in the fourth quarter that appeared to have been goaltied by Aaron Gordon, with the Warriors trailing by two points. The Golden State Warriors ultimately lost by a score of three points, and no goaltend was declared. A slow-motion video of the event can be found here.
Looking at it another way makes the missed call even more
outrageous. The ball is a goaltend because it hits the backboard before Aaron Gordon blocks it.
Sadly, the Golden State Warriors were the victim of a crucially important missed call. Even so, they had a late opportunity to tie the game when Klay Thompson missed a three-point shot at the buzzer and Steph Curry missed a layup.
The Denver Nuggets have now defeated the Golden State Warriors four games in a row following their defeat tonight. In addition, they have won seven of the previous eight games against the Warriors. Luckily for the Warriors, there was very little footing as the Dallas Mavericks also lost tonight.
On November 11, the Golden State Warriors will play the Cleveland Cavaliers.
