Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry made history vs. the Cavaliers
Steph Curry became the 35th player in NBA history to reach 22,000 career points on Saturday night despite the fact that the Golden State Warriors lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Despite having a poor shooting night, Curry ended up scoring a team-high 30 points in the defeat to Cleveland. The Warriors have suffered two of their four opening-round losses to the Cavaliers, who have proven to be a formidable foe thus far this season. The Warriors had another game they could have won, but they lost it due to poor play in the closing stages. The Warriors had a chance to win the game even though they had fallen behind by as much as 17 points at one point in the contest.
Curry did not play nearly as well as he has for the majority of this season, as was previously mentioned, but he still managed to score 30 points in the contest to take his career scoring total above 22,000 points. With the way he is playing, Curry will likely reach many more milestones in his illustrious career in addition to this one.
After getting off to a fast start, the Warriors have struggled recently, losing three of their past four games, including two against the Cavaliers. The Warriors, who are currently 6-4 on the year, will try to pick up their play when they play the Timberwolves on Sunday.
