Over the years, Real Madrid has changed the transfer policy that was once the foundation of the club. Previously, the Spanish Royal team advocated recruiting the world’s top stars to create a “galaxy”, but now everything has changed. White Vulture’s target is the world’s top young talents.
In recent years, Real Madrid has spared no expense to bring in the best young players such as Eduardo Camavinga, Andrei Tchouameni, Vinicius, Endrick and most recently Arda Guler.
However. Because of injury, the Turkish football prodigy has not been able to play for Real Madrid. And recently, this team fired doctor Niki Mihic for not being able to help Guler improve his injury situation.
Why was Dr. Niki Mihic fired by Real Madrid?
Niki Mihic has been a doctor for Real Madrid since 2017. However, he did not complete his assigned task well, which was to plan and manage Arda Guler’s injury. So far, the former Fenerbahce player has been injured three times with his new team and has yet to make his debut.
Mihic was instrumental in helping Real Madrid players return to full fitness after the Covid-19 break and win the championship at the end of the 2020/21 season. However, this year, he was constantly under pressure when Real Madrid players were often injured.
Besides the long-term injuries of Coutois or Militao, many other Real Madrid players also continuously have to sit out longer than expected. And Guler’s physical condition was like a drop in the bucket, causing Mihic to be fired.
Before arriving at Santiago Bernabeu in 2017, Mihic worked for HM Group in Madrid and Montreal, where he directed the Disease Prevention Unit in both cities. He also teaches university medicine at San Pablo University and is a Medical Examiner for Air France and KLM.
