Due to a left calf contusion, LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers was unable to play against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday. One NBA fan, though, made light of the power forward’s absence, joking that it was due to his wife Savannah James, whose all-black ensemble garnered a lot of attention on social media.

While many were amazed by the 37-year-old’s all-black ensemble, one fan made light fun of the four-time NBA champion by speculating that James’ absence from the Sunday game was due to it.

The fan expressed his opinions on James’ decision to miss the game—which the Lakers won 116-110—on Twitter.

Before tip-off, some people thought that James’s absence from the game could be a blow for the Lakers, while others thought it was already lost.

The Lakers defeated the Blazers in spite of James’s absence from the contest. The visitors gave LA a scare in the fourth quarter, closing the 14-point lead they had at the end of the third quarter after opening with a 10-0 run. But Anthony Davis put on a show, finishing the game with a double-double to lead the Purple and Gold. With 13 rebounds and 30 points at the end of the game, he led all of the starting players in scoring with double figures.
