Chase described the cleats as “clean as hell” on his Instagram story after opening them. Looks good. Thank you so much, LeBron.”

An image of James dunking over “The Flintstones” protagonist Fred Flintstone adorned the gear’s packaging.

Murray and Chase were also given personalized Fruity Pebbles cereal boxes. While Murray’s “Kyler Pebbles” box had him in a similar outfit, Chase’s “Ja’Marr Pebbles” box had him on the cover wearing the Bengals’ all-white uniform.

The spring of 2024 will see the release of the Nike LeBron 4 Vapor Edge cleats. They are based on James’ basketball shoes from the PE line, which were introduced in 2006 and were named after his childhood cereal of choice, Fruity Pebbles.

James and his vintage sneakers have garnered attention on the football field before.

Nike LeBron 4 cleats were worn by USC Trojans quarterback Caleb Williams during a game against the Colorado Buffaloes earlier in the season. In addition, James gave the Ohio State Buckeyes cleats inspired by the Nike LeBron 4 Graffiti colorways in preparation for their game against the Penn State Nittany Lions.
