Deuce Tatum’s cute thoughts on the future – Celebrated his fifth birthday in December

Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics turned to social media to share a cute story about his five-year-old son, Deuce.

Tatum claimed that his son changed his mind after seeing the new Spider-Man film.

“Daddy, I think I’ve changed my mind,” Deuce explained.

“I might want to be Spider-Man when I grow up, but I still want to be you.”

Tatum responded jokingly, “Good save, son!” “Excellent save!”

Tatum had Deuce at the age of 19, shortly after being picked by the Celtics, and his kid has since gained popularity among Celtics players and throughout the NBA.

Tatum has joint custody of Deuce with his ex-girlfriend, Toriah Lachell, and has referred to his kid as his “best friend in the world.”

During a news conference in June, the NBA player discussed the importance of being a role model as a father and the close relationship he had with his son.

“My mindset was always that I was going to be the best father I could be, as well as the best basketball player,” he once said in a news conference.

“There was no guideline or exact way to do it; it was all about what felt natural.”

“I’m around him every day, and I think going through this journey together, because I was 19 when I was drafted, it’s almost like we’re growing up together.”
