Stephen Curry, an NBA player, and Ayesha Curry are marking ten years of marriage this year.
The 32-year-old actress and cookbook author paid a touching homage to her spouse on Instagram by posting a rotating collection of pictures to commemorate ten years since their wedding day.
“My dear! my traveling companion! My closest pal! My trusty one! I love you, daddy! Everything to me! “Y’all, 10 years married ,” wrote Ayesha. It seemed to pass like an instant. Without a doubt, @stephencurry30 is the most incredible person I have ever met.”
“I’m excited to see what the next 50 years have in store for us,” she continued. Cheers to a joyous day! Over the past few days, we have celebrated the most.
Together, Ayesha and Stephen, 33, are parents to three children: Riley, 9, and Ryan Carson, 6, as well as son Canon W. Jack, 3. Although the couple recently celebrated a significant anniversary together, they have known one another since their teenage years in North Carolina.
In December 2020, Ayesha told PEOPLE that one of the first dinners her now-husband prepared for her was a “disgusting” dish that included “salty cream of wheat, a burnt bagel, burnt eggs, and a garnish of Gushers.”
But she didn’t hesitate to say, “He’s gotten much better,” adding that “he has confidence in the kitchen now.”
Although her spouse is more adept at handling a basketball court than a kitchen, Ayesha has amassed an impressive culinary empire over the years. over time. International Smoke, her debut eatery, debuted in San Francisco in 2017. Among her many achievements, the Seasoned Life author also lists her own Food Network show, cookware line, and meal kit delivery service.
Additionally, Ayesha debuted her newest endeavor in April 2020: Sweet July, a lifestyle publication published by Meredith Corp., the parent company of PEOPLE. The magazine covers a wide range of subjects, including relationships and family, in addition to food. There are 22 new recipes in this issue. About her magazine’s first issue, Ayesha told PEOPLE, “It’s like getting a mini cookbook.”
Ayesha stated on the Skimm’d From The Couch podcast in May that she was first motivated to start her blog and share her recipes after having kids, and that it was her husband’s encouragement that gave her the courage to pursue her culinary career.
Ayesha claimed that even though she “thoroughly enjoyed being a mom,” she had “felt this weird bug, like this entrepreneurial bug” all her life.
Her presence “grew and grow and grew” after she started blogging her recipes, she said, adding that “it kind of became my career very naturally and organically.” My spouse then said, “Hey, I think you can do this.”
She added,” I was very scared and frightened and gently dove in, and now it’s become a whole career, which I love.”
