Many have been waiting for LeBron James to begin to deteriorate and exhibit wear and tear for the past few years. However, it hasn’t occurred yet in his 21st season.

He has averaged 24.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game in his first ten games of the season. Even better, he’s shooting 36.5% from 3-point range and 56.7% from the field, with the latter figure seemingly reflecting his high level of vigor and energy.

James was questioned about how 38 years old he felt on the basketball court after his Los Angeles Lakers easily defeated the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday. He stated that he doesn’t and even made a daring claim about how much better he is now than he was ten or so years ago.

James responded to a follow-up question from a reporter about how he manages to stay mentally sharp after all these years by praising his family for serving as inspiration and discussing how getting plenty of sleep has kept him mentally and physically fit and sharp.
