If you live in Boston, you are aware of the Boston Celtics’ all-star forward Jaylen Brown’s performance on the floor. But how well do you know the 26-year-old’s leadership efforts away from the court?
Brown established The 7uice Foundation in 2019 to raise awareness and make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across America in order to develop a new generation of leaders.
On December 1, Brown and the 7uice Foundation will present the 2nd Annual Gala at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
Brown’s fundamental mission, he adds, is social justice.
“Systemic racism has led to inequities in education, lack of access to healthy foods, and stigmas around treating mental health and wellness,” he went on to say.
The event will take held from 7 to 9 p.m., and new partnerships to advance the cause will be announced.
