Both Curry and Warriors coach Steve Kerr have used the term “cocky” to describe Podziemski’s game, but the rookie guard himself views it as confidence. Despite not seeing much playing time in the initial games of the season, Podziemski stayed prepared and ready for his opportunity. His breakout performance came in a challenging game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, where the Warriors faced early ejections of key players such as Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. With the absence of Curry, Thompson, and Green, the team relied on veterans like Andrew Wiggins and Chris Paul, as well as younger talents such as Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody. However, it was the 20-year-old rookie who shone the brightest.

Podziemski showcased his skills with a remarkable 23-point performance on 9-of-18 shooting in 39 minutes of play. He also contributed seven rebounds, five assists, one steаl, and an abundance of swagger on the court.

Whether referred to as swagger, cockiness, or confidence, Podziemski’s time on the floor is marked by his ability to make the most of his opportunities and entertain the audience with his impressive skills.
