According to Tuttomercatoweb, Real Madrid is contemplating Mauro Icardi as a replacement for Vincius.
Vincius Jnior is projected to be unavailable until February, causing Real Madrid’s winter transfer plans to change. Icardi is one of the candidates being considered by the club to replace the Brazilian. According to reports, Real Madrid’s middlemen have already met with Galatasaray.
The club will now analyze the importance of this signing and may begin formal talks. If the Icardi trade goes through, it will most likely be a loan with a buy option. It is highlighted that Joselu is not Carlo Ancelotti’s unquestionable first option as striker.
PSG confirmed the permanent signing of the striker in May 2020, clinching a four-year contract for a cost of 50 million euros. He was loaned to the Turkish club Galatasaray in the summer of 2022. He signed a full deal with Galatasaray until 2026 in July 2023 for a cost of roughly 10 million euros.
Transfermarkt valued Icardi, 30, at 20 million euros.
