On Thursday, the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers 133-110 behind 33 points from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Gilgeous-Alexander converted all 10 of his free throw attempts and 11 of his 18 field goals. Following narrow defeats to Philadelphia and Minnesota, Jalen Williams led the Thunder with 21 points, while Chet Holmgren chipped in with 18.
James finished the game with 21 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists for the Lakers, while Anthony Davis led Los Angeles with 31 points and 14 rebounds. James was doubtful for the game due to a left calf injury.
Oklahoma City only had nine turnovers while making 53.2% of its field goals.
This week has been up and down for the Lakers. They were defeated by Detroit by 26 points on Wednesday after losing by 44 points to Philadelphia on Monday.
The Thunder outscored the Lakers 42-23 to take a 72-60 lead at halftime. The Lakers had led by 14 points in the first quarter.
