‘The Warrior Princess’: LeBron James attends and supports Zhuri at her school’s volleyball game

In an Instagram post, LeBron James displayed his abilities as a happy father by sharing three videos of his daughter Zhuri’s volleyball game.

‘King James’ has three children, and this time it was his daughter’s turn to show off her skills, as she demonstrated a precise serve to give her team points, while her teammates congratulated her and, from the stands, LeBron did not hide his delight at seeing his daughter’s skills, whom he referred to as “munchkin.”

LeBron James supports his daughter, Zhuri, at her volleyball game

During Sunday’s Zhuri Nova game, LeBron posted videos of his eight-year-old daughter’s serving skills in the first two, and her getting ready to defend in the third, but the fun part came after a shout from the NBA legend, “Let’s go munchkin,” caused his little girl to return a look that could be interpreted as him embarrassing her.

The videos came with the following message: “There’s another one in the works!” Uh-Oh!!” Munchin, let’s go!! The NEXT is @allthingszhuri!! VIBES!! #ZTheWarriorPrincess #JamesGang.”

The reactions on Instagram were swift, with some parents identifying themselves by claiming they do the same, and others highlighting Zhuri’s unmistakable expression in the aftermath of LeBron’s happy support.

Bronny is defended by LeBron James

His older brothers, in addition to Zhuri, are recognized for their love of sports, but they prefer basketball. Bronny is 19 years old and has committed to the University of Southern California (USC), while Bryce is 16 years old.

Bronny’s condition was updated earlier this month by James, who said he had “successful surgery” after experiencing cardiac arrest while practicing basketball last July.

Given that Bronny is still healing from heart issues suffered in early 2023, it’s no surprise that LeBron is feeling especially protective of him right now.

It is unclear when he will return to USC Basketball action, but that is undoubtedly the aim. Many detractors appear to believe that Bronny does not have the same athleticism as LeBron at the same age.

Others, however, say he’s showing signs of being just as good, given that he’s battling with a smaller body.

This led LeBron James to cite a tweet about the same topic. The title of the tweet was: “To say that Bronny is as athletic or even more athletic than Bron at his age is not far-fetched, as he does it when he is 6’2 and not 6’8,” a member of the public said.

LeBron then cited the post and went on the offense to defend his son’s performance: “Exactly, he’s definitely not up to his age,” stated the Los Angeles Lakers player. “Casuals just like to argue about things they literally don’t know about.”
