Deuce Tatum, the son of Jayson Tatum, has become a devoted fan of the Boston Celtics. At just 4 years old, Deuce can often be seen cheering for his father from the sidelines of TD Garden when he’s not on the court or with the team. As of Wednesday night, the Celtics were leading 2-0 in the first round of the NBA playoffs against the Brooklyn Nets.
After the game, Jayson Tatum mentioned, “Nothing cooler than this dad sҺit,” expressing his joy and pride in being a father. Following the victory, Deuce happily skipped through the locker room, which was captured in a video posted by the Celtics on their Instagram page. The team’s point guard, Marcus Smart, enthusiastically shouted, “Yeah Deuce!” as Deuce entered the room, leading to cheers from his teammates.
During the interaction, Deuce received a high five from Daniel Theis, a center for the Celtics. In the video, someone remarked, “He’s got a little skip to him!” The Celtics also shared a photo on social media of Jayson and Deuce sitting beside each other in the locker room, with Deuce sitting on a black chair next to his father’s locker. Jayson liked the picture so much that he tweeted it the following morning, expressing his love for being a dad.
A clip shared on Twitter by ABC6 in Providence showed Deuce enjoying himself with a basketball on the court at TD Garden before Wednesday’s game. The young boy has clearly become an integral part of the Celtics family, bringing joy and excitement to the team and its fans alike.
