Sheng Gao, an 18-year-old Chinese exchange student, is facing allegations of breaking into Curry’s home in October. The prosecution claimed that Gao took a bus to the affluent town of Atherton on October 15, where Curry and his family reside, with the intention of securing the Warriors star’s autograph.

Gao reportedly engaged in conversation with a woman who directed him to the Curry family’s residence. Once inside, Gao allegedly walked through the unlocked front door. Shortly thereafter, he was confronted by a nanny who spotted him on surveillance footage. Following the interaction with the nanny, the teenage intruder left the premises.

During the alleged incident, Curry and his wife Ayesha were not at home, but prosecutors emphasized that the couple’s three children were present at the time.
