Video: While refereeing a basketball match, two referees in the NBA youth tournament suddenly became two boxers fighting fiercely

“If you’re tired of the NBA players’ “hugging” scenes like Draymond “caressing” Gobert’s neck or Draymond “affectionately touching” Jusuf Nurkic’s face, there’s a recent “VAR technology” incident among referees – this time in a youth basketball league in the U.S.

In a game between 4th-grade students in Lakewood, Colorado, amidst a heated dispute between two officiating referees, one of them executed a “gomu gomu no” move on the other, causing the latter to fall to the floor. Not only that, but the fallen referee was also pinned down by another referee to suppress the situation. The intensity of the confrontation escalated as the standing referee continued spamming “gomu gomu no” on the referee on the floor. Fortunately, onlookers intervened and managed to halt this one-sided conflict.

Adding an unexpected twist to the story, the fallen referee, upon standing up, chose not to retaliate against his assailant but instead engaged in a “VAR” exchange with a third referee – the one who rushed in to subdue him. Thankfully, timely intervention prevented a three-way referee showdown.

Although it may sound convoluted and somewhat perplexing, this incident indeed occurred two days ago, and authorities are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.”
