Both the Golden State Warriors and the Portland Trail Blazers are coming off the second night of a back-to-back tonight.
The Warriors’ injury report only lists two players: Draymond Green and Gary Payton II. Draymond Green is suspended indefinitely, and Gary Payton II is sidelined with a right calf injury. On the second night of a back-to-back, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, and Chris Paul will all be available.
Ibou Badji, Justin Minaya, Rayan Rupert, and Robert Williams III are all listed as injured with the Portland Trail Blazers. Ibou Badji is unavailable due to a G League two-way contract, Justin Minaya is unavailable due to a G League two-way contract, Rayan Rupert is unavailable due to a G League assignment, and Robert Williams III is unavailable due to a right knee ligament damage.
The previous time these two teams met, it was a tense game in which the Trail Blazers were severely outmanned. This time, both teams will be near full strength, and it will be a terrific test for the Warriors, who claim to have new vigor after a feisty team meeting. Even though Portland has a losing record, the Warriors must not underestimate them.
Tonight at 9:00 p.m. EST, the Golden State Warriors take on the Portland Trail Blazers.
