Giannis Antetokounmpo, in a Playful Mood, Bonds with 2-Year-Old Maverick as the Father-Son Duo Sport Matching Nike Zoom Freak 5 PEs! 🏀👟 #FamilyFun

Giannis Antetokounmpo, the star forward for the Milwaukee Bucks, has made it a habit to warm up before games with his two-year-old son Maverick Shai. Prior to the Bucks’ home game against the Indiana Pacers on Monday, the two-time MVP carried on with that pattern.

As Maverick worked on his dribbling, the father-son team was spotted wearing Antetokounmpo’s Nike Zoom Freak 5 PE sneakers. The Bucks star smiled as he watched Maverick’s moves, seemingly enjoying some quality time with his son. Then, in a touching moment, he picked up his son, gave him a hug, and tickled him.

The Nike Zoom Freak 5 PEs’ design was influenced by Antetokounmpo’s family, especially with the recent birth of Eva Brooke, his daughter. The lateral heels of the shoes are adorned with her name.

In addition, the heel counters of the shoes have white hearts stitched on them in memory of all three of his children, including Liam, his first son. Most people would therefore concur that Maverick should have his own pair.

Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo delivered a deadly one-two punch.

This season, Milwaukee has been playing well after a sluggish start. The Bucks had won nine of their previous ten games and 19 of their previous 23 heading into Monday.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, his co-star, have led them. The superstar pair scored 65 points apiece on Friday as Milwaukee defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 119-111 on the road.

After his outstanding performance on Friday, the NBA champion discussed his and Lillard’s deadly one-two punch.

“You’re going to get good results when you put the basketball in the hands of your two best players,” Antetokounmpo stated. “I’ll be willing to make a play or pass the ball to my teammates if you want to double-team Dame.”

Milwaukee (24-8) owns the second-best record in the NBA after 32 games played, as well as the second-best offensive rating (121.0) in the league. Thus far, it looks like the Bucks hit a home run with the Lillard trade. When the playoffs get along, it remains to be seen if their unsteady defense can hold up.
