Bucks Star Rocks Zoom Freak 5s on New Year’s Day: Which Edition Did He Wear?

Giannis Antetokounmpo is determined to join new colleague Damian Lillard in the NBA Finals after writing his name in history once more on Thursday night with 54 points against the Indiana Pacers. Giannis just revealed an all-new Zoom Freak 5 PE that honors his family’s number of birthdays throughout the fall and winter seasons. Giannis plays every night in unison with his fifth distinctive silhouette.

Wearing the pair during an early November two-point victory over the Detroit Pistons, the Zoom-assisted silhouette reflects the aesthetics of a birthday celebration on top of a white canvas. The entire upper is covered in a colorless treatment, ranging from the semi-translucent tread and midsole to the textile mid-foot and leather overlay. Fluorescent pink hues highlight the accents placed atop the tongue and the bigger profile swoosh. To further anchor the neon-accented effort along the cerulean blue collar lining, every part of the model, except for the tongue tabs, is speckled with blue, pink, and yellow, evoking the look of Funfetti cake mix flakes.

It’s unlikely that the Nike Zoom Freak 5 “Funfetti” PE will be released more widely, so be sure to keep an eye out for another release in the upcoming weeks. The two can be seen ahead in Giannis’s own imagery in the interim.
