At the Warriors’ media availability on Tuesday, Steph Curry cracked a couple of jokes when answering a question regarding his connection with new teammate Kevin Durant. Perhaps he’s in a good mood because his team leads the Cavaliers 2-0 in the NBA Finals.

Curry initially stated, “I can’t stand that guy, man, for real.”

Then he went on, pausing to make a “dating show” remark:

“I’ve known him since 2009, so we’re not at each other’s houses every day or anything, but when you go through these battles from October to now, I definitely feel like I know him a lot better than I did.” That will hopefully continue as we go in our careers, but he’s a terrific guy. He has a wonderful sense of humour.

“Right now, I feel like I’m on a dating show.” He’s a fantastic dude, fantastic dude. I enjoy being around him, and I hope that continues.”
