To say the least, the Golden State Warriors’ season has been out of character for them. The club presently has a 17-19 record and is ranked 11th in the Western Conference. Many people are wondering if the Warriors’ dynasty is coming to an end.
Splash brother Klay Thompson, on the other hand, is upbeat about the rest of the season. He made it plain that there is no cause to be concerned right now.
We have Steph Curry, we have myself, Draymond Green is returning, Chris Paul will return, we have champions on the roster… What’s the point of freaking out?”
Thompson, Klay
The NBA recently reinstated Draymond Green to rejoin the Warriors. While there is no definite game in which he will return, his presence on the court should be beneficial. Unfortunately for the squad, Chris Paul fractured his left hand and will need surgery next week. Another obstacle for the crew to conquer.
The organization’s future is difficult to predict at the moment. Stephen Curry is still an All-NBA performer for the squad. Regression, struggles, and suspensions have all played a role in the Warriors’ struggles this season.
“All you can do is keep working and believe, and I certainly do believe.”
Thompson, Klay
Thompson has ample cause to be optimistic about the team. The team has 46 games remaining to go back on track and attain their full potential. They also have the experience and winning culture to return to form.
In recent weeks, the Warriors have been linked to a number of different trade partners. While nothing is written in stone, the Warriors will need to right the ship if they want to win again.
