Curry has maintained his level of performance this season, but his teammates have been a complete letdown to him. As a result, the Golden State Warriors’ leadership has begun to consider improvements while still creating a new squad around its best player.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Golden State Warriors are actively exploring trading every single player. Only Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson aren’t in the running.

In light of his recent struggles, dealing him as a veteran doesn’t seem too far-fetched. Draymond understands that he messed up for the team that trusted him the most.

He is currently one of those players who can be traded at any time, but it is up to him to reclaim his dignity and respect. The Warriors realize they can’t afford to waste any more time with Stephen Curry nearing the end of his career.

The Warriors dynasty has already been in six NBA Finals and won four of them; they might yet make it to one more if these changes are done.

Realistically, Klay Thompson should be able to sign an extension as well, but the rest of the team has been underwhelming recently and throughout the season. Before the trade deadline, the Warriors’ leadership must make moves and be aggressive.

We’re more than a month away from that deadline, and the Warriors appear to be looking for new talent at the expense of their own. The Warriors’ blowout loss to the Pelicans on Wednesday forced their hand.
