Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets is placed fourth on the NBA’s list of the most viewed players on social media in 2023.

Jokic racked up over 1.2 billion views throughout the NBA’s social media pages in 2023, trailing only LeBron James, Steph Curry, and Victor Wembanyama, who brought in 1.3 billion.

With James and Curry being the two most popular players in the league, as well as playing for perhaps the two most popular teams in the league, their position at the top of this list is unsurprising. It’s no surprise that the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors are both big, as are their respective stars.

Wembanyama’s ranking higher than Jokic is hardly surprising, given that the rookie sensation went viral on social media long before he ever stepped on an NBA court. James, Curry, Wembanyama, and Jokic were the only four players to have over 1 billion views on the NBA’s social media platforms, with Luka Doncic coming the closest with 914 million.

Jayson Tatum, Kevin Durant, Jimmy Butler, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jamal Murray, Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, Austin Reaves, Joel Embiid, and Ja Morant follow Doncic on the list.
