Klay Thompson showcased his “Rocco” Anta KT 9 during last night’s Bucks versus Warriors game. Thompson, an ANTA trademark athlete, paid a heartfelt tribute to his pet English bulldog, Sir Rocco Von Thompson, also known as ‘Rocco. This sincere dedication was revealed in the form of a special colorway of his ANTA KT sneaker line, notably the most recent KT9 model.
The sneaker has personalized bulldog etching on the uppers, displaying Rocco’s cute face, name, and some of his favorite components. The shoe, which features the ANTA logo in a distinctive thicket carpet-like material and a light blue underlay, is further characterized by Thompson’s moniker on the heel and highlighted yellow accents.
Thompson’s tribute to his beloved friend is unquestionably one of the most imaginative and poignant presentations seen among NBA sneakers.
However, in November of last year, he laced up with an orange accent on the shoes. He donned the shoes throughout the NBA’s Thanksgiving week.
Klay Thompson, the four-time NBA champion, is said to adore his pet dog, Rocco. Despite conjecture and speculations linking him to other models, Thompson has stated that he prioritizes spending time with Rocco over the glamor of dating models.
Thompson remarked,
“He’s excellent. Living a life. I’m about to take him to the park later—get some sun and have some fun. With Rocco? Oh no, no, no. [I’m] simply being good. I’m just looking for a healthy lady out there. “That would be nice.”
This remark demonstrates his unwavering passion for Rocco and his desire to form a meaningful connection that is consistent with his ideals. Not only that but he had been seen with his dog for years, including in 2018 when he released a shoe from his signature collection devoted to Rocco.
Thompson adopted Rocco when he was eight weeks old in 2011 and has remained his best friend ever since. In 2014, Klay Thompson had an odd yet beautiful moment when discussing his contract negotiations. After successfully negotiating a $70 million agreement with the Warriors, Rocco received the good news first.
Thompson mentioned his dog, Rocco, and said:

Even after the contract was signed, Thompson couldn’t wait for the procedure to be completed and the meeting to be over. He was just worried about Rocco.
General manager Bob Myers stated at the time:
“We were trying to get the contract signed, and all he wanted to do was go home to his dog.”
