For the first game since they traded for former New York Knicks Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett in exchange for veteran wing OG Anunoby, the Boston Celtics took against the revamped Toronto Raptors. After that trade, the Raptors appear to be a better team than they were.
The Raptors shot only 12.5% from 3-point range, which was incredibly terrible, but Toronto was able to equal much of what Boston had to offer and the Celtics managed to escape with a 105-96 victory. The Celtics’ victory solidified their tight grip atop the Eastern Conference rankings and allowed them to sweep the season series against Toronto.
After the game, Amina Smith was joined by Eddie House, Brian Scalabrine, and Drew Carter of NBC Sports Boston to discuss the victory on “Postgame Live.”
