Even though LeBron James contributed to the Los Angeles Lakers’ 127–110 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, he was much more anticipating watching his son Bronny’s USC game against Arizona.
Although James has been to a few games this season, the Lakers star had to watch the USC game on television because it was held in Tucson, Arizona, on Wednesday night.
James was seen rushing to the locker room immediately following the victory, informing onlookers that he had to go see his son’s game, according to footage that Lauren Jones of The Sporting Tribune was able to capture.
James remarked, “I have to head over to my son’s game real quick.”
Kevin Durant, the forward for the Phoenix Suns and another NBA star, was present at the game. He watched the much-awaited Pac-12 match from courtside.
Just his second start for the Trojans, the young James, a freshman at USC, made his first one last Saturday. After making zero field goals during his first start, he struggled, but on Wednesday he improved, leading the club with six assists and scoring 11 points. The Wildcats defeated the Trojans 82–67.
James was recuperating from a heart collapse he had at a practice in July, so he began his rookie season later than expected.
