ο»ΏIn The Match, Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs faced up against Steph Curry and Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors. The NFL players pulled off an unexpected victory in the charity golf tournament, despite the Splash Brothers being the clear favorites.
After the opening hole, the match was tied between the two teams. The Chiefs pair then won the second, third, and fourth holes to take the lead. Mahomes and Kelce shared the sixth hole, while the seventh, eighth, and fifth holes were also tied.
After winning the ninth hole, Curry and Thompson looked like they were close to pulling off a miracle. But the two-time Super Bowl champions didn’t take long to win the game in the tenth hole.
Steph Curry and Klay Thompson were immediately targeted by fans for their performances. Although Curry was by far the greatest player out of the four, he struggled all day with his putting stroke. After a difficult beginning, Travis Kelce turned in an excellent performance.
Thompson has participated in two sports, but one fan went too far in calling him a
“Wow Klay is washed at two sports.”
“Mahomes owning Curry just like LeBron.”
