🏀❤️ Touching hearts, Luka Doncic gives Leo Martinez’s grandfather, Luka, the FIBA trophy in his honor!

Even though Luka Doncic is currently one of the most well-known basketball players, he still has a lot of love for his fans.

Following his last game before leaving Manila on September 8, which also happened to be Slovenia and Italy’s exciting 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup match, Doncic left a Pinoy family with an incredible core memory that they would always cherish. The 24-year-old Dallas Mavericks forward gave their son his TCL Player of the Game award, as Prince Rivero and his wife Lesley Martinez disclosed on Instagram.

Rivero is a current MPBL player for Quezon and a former PBA player, according to SPIN.ph.

The two, who were huge fans of Doncic, expressed gratitude for having attended all three of his Slovenian national team matches. At these games, they carried a big banner that read, “LUKA, we named our son after you.” They carried a sign that read, “LUKA, I was named after you,” to the third and final game, along with their own Baby Luka.

It appears that Leo Martinez, an actor and comedian, is the grandson of Baby Luka. “Ang trophy niya sa apo ko na binigay ni Luka Doncic,” the delighted grandfather said in an Instagram story. Additionally, he tagged the account of his grandson Luka Vicente Paolo Martinez Rivero. Baby Luka celebrated his first birthday on August 3.
