Keyshawn Johnson feels the Nuggets would be unstoppable if Joel Embiid replaced Nikola Jokic

Richard Sherman and Keyshawn Johnson disputed who to pick between Embiid and Jokic.

In the aftermath of Joel Embiid’s career-high 70-point performance against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night, the latest episode of Undisputed delves deeper into the 6-time All-Star. While Richard Sherman argued that despite Embiid’s amazing scoring streak and superior two-way abilities, he should not be considered superior to Nikola Jokic, considering the Serbian’s team success. In response, Keyshawn Johnson vehemently opposed this perspective.

“Joker just won last year,” Johnson added. “I would choose Embiid over Joker, just as I would have done last year.” If I had placed Embiid on the Denver Nuggets squad with those players around him, they would have never missed a beat, dude.”

Furthermore, when discussing Troel’s career-best performance, Keyshawn underlined how the 29-year-old played the game methodically, focusing on his abilities to maximize his influence.Keyshawn Johnson believes the Nuggets would be unstoppable if Joel Embiid was there instead of Nikola Jokic - Basketball Network - Your daily dose of basketball

“When you look at Embiid at both ends of the floor… a lot of his work (Came) knowing that he could take advantage of his size in the paint and the elbow was just tremendous to me,” Johnson said. “He thought, ‘They can’t protect me!’ There is nothing they can do. “He could’ve scored 100 points, man.”Recognizing Embiid’s stronger offensive and defensive statistics this season in terms of blocks per game and free throws per game vs Jokic, Bayless is confident that Joel ranks higher. However, in terms of improving teammates and getting the job done, the 72-year-old observer believes the 2023 Finals MVP is far superior to Joel.Keyshawn Johnson believes the Nuggets would be unstoppable if Joel Embiid was there instead of Nikola Jokic - Basketball Network - Your daily dose of basketball

“Joel is a lot better rebounder, shot blocker, and defender than Joker ever was. And based on the defensive ratings, Joel is now rated 10th in the NBA. That is very good. Joker ranks 44th… He won MVP last year, and his numbers are even better overall,” Bayless added. “But if we talk about leadership or availability injury-wise, obviously Jokic makes everybody better.”"Keyshawn Johnson doesn't know basketball” – Former Super Bowl champion belittling Nikola Jokic sparks debate among NBA fans
