With Chinese footwear brand ANTA, Kyrie Iriving has signed a five-year contract that goes beyond a signature product line.
Irving formally assumed Klay Thompson’s role as the brand’s spokesperson.
ANTA revealed its shared vision with Irving that is grounded on upholding diversity and expansively promoting the richness of global basketball culture.
“Both parties will focus on their love for basketball and uphold the concept of “The Love for Basketball is Equally Shared” by ANTA. They will also tap into their respective strengths from diverse fields to support every basketball enthusiast and jointly promote the development of basketball culture,” the brand said.
Irving will lead ANTABasketball’s player recruiting, brand partnerships, and multisectoral collaborations in addition to his role as Chief Creative Officer. This is a result of the new business relationship.
“Through these collaborations and in collaboration with Anta, Kyrie will strive to collectively shape and introduce new vision, innovation, and creativity in signature sportswear category,” ANTA said.
As part of both parties’ initiatives to promote the sport, the Dallas Mavericks player will also be leading ANTA x KYRIE Youth Basketball Training Camps in China and the US.
