The Denver Nuggets will host the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday evening in Colorado.
During the game, two-time MVP Nikola Jokic delivered an unbelievable highlight that went viral on social media.
Jokic faked a three-pointer and fooled Deandre Ayton, who turned his head to look at the basket.
He then ended the play with a basket (and a foul).
In 48 games, Jokic averaged 26.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, 9.1 assists, and 1.2 steals, while shooting 58.7% from the field and 36.2% from three.
The Nuggets are the Western Conference’s fourth seed, with a 34-16 record in their first 50 games.
They are 7-3 in their previous ten games and an unbelievable 20-4 in 24 games played at home in Denver.
Most recently, the Nuggets defeated the Trail Blazers 120-108 (also in Denver) on Friday, and Jokic was terrific.
In 38 minutes of play, he recorded 27 points, 22 rebounds, 12 assists, one steal, and two blocks while shooting 11/16 from the field and 1/1 from three.
Following the Trail Blazers, they will go to California to face LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday evening.
The Trail Blazers entered Sunday’s game with a 15-34 record in their first 49 games, placing them as the 14th seed in the Western Conference.
