The Golden State Warriors’ matchup against the defending champion Denver Nuggets was one of the NBA’s Christmas Day highlights. Nuggets center Nikola Jokic, as expected, guided his side to victory. Even better, the quiet superstar has spoken out about his new signature sneaker collaboration with 361°, a performance footwear brand.
Details about Jokic’s signature shoe agreement with 361° were unexpectedly released earlier this week, capturing the attention of the whole basketball community. Jokic finally spoke up today to introduce the relationship and highlight his exciting new role as Global Brand Ambassador.
“I’m thrilled to announce my partnership with 361° and to join yet another champions’ team.” The 361° team’s enthusiasm and commitment to performance and competition resonated to me. We’ve already invested in the time and effort to make my first trademark shoe a reality; the process has been enjoyable, much like watching my horses race. “We’re going to bring more passion to the game than anyone has ever seen, and we’re going to share it with people all over the world.””The deal is done,” Jokic said about his new trademark footwear agreement.
Jokic was born and raised in Sombor, Serbia, and was selected 41st overall in the second round by the Denver Nuggets in 2014. Jokic, often regarded as the greatest draft steal of all time, has emerged as one of the NBA’s best players. Jokic will now enter the signature shoe category with 361° after winning two regular-season MVP titles, an NBA title, and a finals MVP.
361° was formed in 2003 on the “One Degree Beyond” principle, which maintains that wellness is more than just physical activity; it is a way of life that adds meaning to life. 361° started as a running shoe manufacturer and then expanded into sporting clothing and basketball shoes. 361° items are available in around 6,000 retailers globally, with distribution and office locations on nearly every continent.
Jokic will soon unveil his first signature performance basketball shoe, 361°. Until then, Jokic will be seen on the court sporting the 361° Big3 Future High, the most recent performance basketball shoe. The Big3 Future High will remain exclusive to Jokic, however a low-cut variant will be made available to the general public.
